Reader’s Digest photos from “The Color of Gender” story in the July/August issue

According to Smithsonian magazine, the color pink was identified with boys and the color blue with girls until the 1940s, when retailers flipped them.
The photographer of these images, JeongMee Yoon, took photos of children with their “designated” colors in her Pink & Blue project. We didn’t think this many color-coded items could fit in one photo!
